Conference admission and meals

Organizers of the conference fully cover for properly and timely registered participants these conference expenses:
•    Access to at all scientific sessions and poster area
•    Coffee Breaks, Lunches and Dinners during the conference within its programme in the conference venue in Banská Bystrica

•    Scientific programme
•    Proceedings of the conference
•    Accommodation for 2 nights (check-in 8 October 2018, check-out 10 October 2018)

The budget of the conference is covered by the national project Information and providing advice on improving the quality of the environment in Slovakia.
The project is cofinanced by Cohesion Fund of the EU under the Operational programme Quality of the Environment.


Accommodation expenses for 2 nights (check-in 8 October 2018, check-out 10 October 2018) are covered by the organizer of the conference.
Accommodation during the conference will be provided in several congress hotels in Banská Bystrica. Further information about accommodation facilities will be available here after completion of the public procurement.


Travel expenses are not covered by organizers. Transport to and from the conference venue is at conference participants’ own expense.

Arrival to Bratislava by plane
The Bratislava Airport is connected with Bratislava city centre by scheduled public transport. It takes approx. 40 minutes. The easiest way to reach the stop Hlavná stanica (Central Train Station Bratislava) to take the bus No. 61 in front of the airport.

Arrival to Vienna by plane
Due to excellent connection possibility and convenient distance the Vienna International Airport is often used while travelling to Bratislava. There are plenty of quick direct connections from Vienna Airport to the Bratislava Bus Station (Autobusová stanica Mlynské Nivy). Buses leave from the Vienna airport approx. every 30 minutes, the journey depending on traffic takes approx. 1 hour and the costs vary according to time and company (1 – 10 €). Public transport in Bratislava
